Louisiana State University 
The LSU Pennington Biomedical Research Center is conducting clinical trials on a new drug meant to stop the formulation of plaque deposits in the brain as well as other therapies designed to either treat or potentially prevent Alzheimer’s disease, and provides free, annual Alzheimer’s screenings for anyone 55 years old and over. –

Dartmouth Medical School   
Well-known for its commitment to teaching, excellence in clinical care, and strong sense of collegiality, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is also a comprehensive research institution. In the past decade, annual research grants and contracts awarded to the Medical School more than doubled. Today, the total research funding at the Geisel School of Medicine is $137 million, which accounts for more than 70 percent of the Dartmouth’s total research activity.
