The Horizon Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is based at The University of Cloud connection concept . Mixed mediaNottingham and is supported by a £9.3 million investment from Research Councils UK, The University of Nottingham and over 30 industry partners. Each year Horizon recruits 10-20 students on to our PhD programme from a wide range of backgrounds including positioning, computer science, engineering, business, geography, psychology, HCI and other arts, science and social science disciplines.
This programme concerns engineering in healthcare innovation. Students will gain first-hand experience of how technologies they develop have potential clinical impact via a hospital internship, will develop translational research skills to both accelerate clinical uptake of technologies, and take inventions through the first steps of commercialisation. Students will learn how to design clinical trials, and about innovation/entrepreneurship and will conduct a PhD in information-driven healthcare, personalized modelling in healthcare, or cancer therapeutics and delivery.
The International Journal of Doctoral Studies (IJDS) is an academically peer-reviewed international journal that publishes scholarly articles on issues in doctoral studies using the Informing Science framework. The journal publishes conceptual, theoretical and empirical papers. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality print publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all articles online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.
The Graduate School and Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies announce the opening of an Office for Postdoctoral Training. Research Centre, Bournemouth’s National Centre for Computer Animation
Based at Bath and Bournemouth Universities, the CDE is an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training funding doctoral researchers. NRC Ranking of U.S. Psychology Ph.D. Programs
Uses the “quality score” from the 1995 study conducted by the National Research Council published by the APS Observer in January, 1996. SBE Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (SPRF)
The Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) offers Postdoctoral Research Fellowships to encourage independence early in the Fellow’s career through supporting his or her research and training goals. The research and training plan of each fellowship must address important scientific questions within the scope of the SBE Directorate and the specific guidelines in this fellowship solicitation.
International Research Scientist Development Award (IRSDA)

The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill Center for the Study of the American South invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in the history, culture, or society of the American South. AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship
